Questions, Answered
The things people ask most before booking their first session.
How do I book a consultation?
Browse professionals on Find a Coach, open a profile, and pick a service and a time. You'll need a free account so your booking, notes and video link stay in one place. Most professionals offer a free 20-minute intro call, which is the easiest way to start.
What happens on the video call?
You join from your browser — no downloads, no meeting IDs. The room opens ten minutes before your slot. Your professional will have read the goal you wrote when booking, so you can get straight into it rather than spending the first ten minutes on background.
How are coaches and dietitians verified?
Every professional submits identity documents and their certifications before they appear on the platform. Our team reviews both. Nobody is listed, and no content of theirs is published, until that review passes.
What does it cost?
Professionals set their own rates, shown on every profile before you book. Most offer a free intro call. Creating an account, browsing, and joining free events costs nothing.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, from My Bookings in your account. Please give as much notice as you can — that slot could go to someone else, and repeated no-shows may affect your ability to book.
Is my health information private?
The professional you book sees the goals and details relevant to your session, plus your conversation with them. They cannot see anything before you book, and never see your conversations with anyone else. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Is Mofitness a substitute for medical advice?
No. Our professionals give fitness and nutrition guidance within their qualifications, and our AI gives general information. None of it is medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from injury, speak to a doctor before starting anything new.
What is Ask Mo?
Our AI assistant. It answers questions about training, nutrition and recovery, and knows our actual roster and event calendar — so it can point you to a real professional rather than giving generic advice. It's available any time, free.
I'm a coach. How do I join?
Apply through Register as a Coach. You'll need proof of identity and your certifications. Once verified you get a profile, a booking calendar, direct messaging with clients, and the ability to publish videos to our public feed.
Which countries do you operate in?
Professionals are currently based across Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Uganda. Video consultations work anywhere with a stable connection, and virtual events are open worldwide.
Still stuck?
