This policy explains what Mofitness collects, why, and what control you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legalese.
What we collect
Account details — your name, email address and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
Profile details you choose to give us — goals, experience level, city, height and weight. All optional. We use them to personalise your coaching, your matches and your daily email.
Booking and session data — who you booked, when, and any goal or notes you shared with that professional.
Messages — conversations between you and the professionals you book.
Health information
Details like weight, injuries or health goals are sensitive. We use them only to deliver the service you asked for: matching you to suitable professionals, personalising your plan, and giving your coach the context they need. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your data
A professional you book can see the profile details and goals relevant to your session, plus your conversation with them. They cannot see your data before you book, and they cannot see your conversations with anyone else.
We use a small number of processors to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email), Daily.co (video calls) and Google Cloud Vertex AI (the assistant and your daily email). Each receives only what it needs.
The daily email is opt-in. Every one carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in, and you can change every category in your settings. Booking confirmations and reminders are essential to a service you asked for, so they are sent unless you turn them off.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Most of it is editable directly in your account. For export or deletion, email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your account data while your account is open. Booking and message history is retained for as long as your account exists, since both you and your coach may need to refer back to it. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, retaining only what we are legally required to keep.
